UPDATE (24 SEPTEMBER 2025) - The 100th annual West Virginia Academy of Science meeting will be hosted by the West Virginia Academy of Sciences Executive Committee at Stonewall Resort State Park on Sat. April 18th, 2026.

Stonewall Resort State Park
940 Resort Drive, Roanoke, WV, 26447.
Lodging:
A block of 30 rooms has been reserved at Stonewall Resort, at the rate of $169 for the night.
These are available for booking on a first-come first-serve basis until March 17, 2026.
Meals:
A complimentary continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided to all attendees who register prior to the March 6, 2026 registration deadline.
Registration & Abstract Submission
Registration and abstract submission are now open for the West Virginia Academy of Science 2026 meeting. All attendees must register for the conference. At least one of the authors of a presentation must be a WVAS member in good standing at the time of the conference. WVAS Membership is included as part of the Annual Meeting fee for Students and Junior Academy personnel; however, Faculty, Professionals, Recruiters, and Vendors must pay WVAS membership dues separately from their Annual Meeting fees if they would like to publish in the associated journal, Proceedings of the West Virginia Academy of Science.
Abstract Submission Instructions:
To submit an abstract for the annual meeting, please follow these instructions. The deadline for abstract submission is March 6, 2026.
Annual Meeting Registration:
Fill out the meeting registration form below and remit payment. The registration deadline for the meeting is March 6, 2026. Breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee for those that register by the deadline. Meals are NOT included for individuals who register after the March 6 deadline.
For Institutional Student Registration (10 or more students), please have your institutional representative submit your information and payment using the institutional student registration form.
For Institutional Faculty Registration (5 or more faculty), please have your institutional representative submit your information and payment using the institutional faculty registration form.
Future Meetings
The 101st Annual Meeting of WVAS will be held at (a location to be determined) in spring of 2027.
