Abstract

This talk explores the evolving role of ChatGPT in solving complex problems, particularly within the domain of physics courses, and examines how the model’s capabilities have progressed over time. By assessing ChatGPT's performance on increasingly difficult problems, we aim to understand whether it can now achieve higher scores while also identifying the remaining limitations. The discussion will focus on the broader implications for students and educators, highlighting how AI can enhance learning experiences while raising critical concerns about accuracy, potential misuse, and the importance of responsible integration of such tools in educational settings. Ultimately, the talk emphasizes the need for a balanced approach to leveraging AI's power while maintaining rigorous standards in education.
